Parent Volunteers

School Volunteers

We know that students thrive when they see their parents actively involved in volunteer opportunities at their school. In order to be a parent volunteer, you require a Criminal Record Check, which is valid for 5 years.

Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP) has implemented a new applicant-based online service (eCRC) using the mobile BC Services Card as electronic identity verification (EIV.)

Please go to the following website if you require a new criminal record check:

Website: https://justice.gov.bc.ca/criminalrecordcheck

Access Code:  Please contact the office for the code

To log into the new eCRC system, applicants must first ensure their BC Services Card is activated by having their identity verified.  Identity can be verified by video or in person.

In addition, school volunteers are required to attend a Volunteer Orientation Session, which is held in early October and again in January of each year. In the orientation, we will review the Child Abuse Reporting Protocol, as well as the Volunteer Handbook 2022 2023.
