At J. Alfred Laird, we strive to create a caring, inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued and respected. To that end, Ms. Warbrick provides services to all children who identify as having Indigenous ancestry. Those services include things like daily check-ins, supporting students with academic and social-emotional challenges, communicating with parents, and arranging cultural activities at the school. In addition, Ms. Warbrick is a valued resource to school staff as we strive to infuse local Indigenous knowledge and ways of knowing across the curriculum.
